The Vero Beach Power Squadron (VBPS), a member of District 8, is one of the 450+ squadrons of the United States Power Squadron (USPS) ®. District 8 covers the East Coast of Florida from Sebastian Inlet to Key West.
The VBPS with a stake in Vero Beach is a non-profit boating safety education organization. . Most of the activity takes place at the squadron building located in Mac Williams Park near the boat launch ramp next to Riverside Café.
2008 Goals include - Provide safe boating education to the public and our members, continue to get involved in the Community by being a sponsor/host for special and increase membership to support USPS goals.

.Dates - Feb 23 & 24,Apr 19 & 20,Jun 21 & 22,Aug 23 & 24, Oct 18 & 19
·Community Involvement – We Support our Troops, local kids and charities.
·Dinners – Christmas, St Patrick’s Day, Shrimp Boil & Halloween Party
·Friday Night Social – Every Friday in the squadron building 5:30 to 7:30
.Boating - cruises and rendezvous… Poker Run, Christmas boat parade, etc.
.Cooperative Charting - meets at the squadron building ThursdayS at 0930.
·Nautical News - A bi-monthly newsletter about the VBPS.
·Membership – The VBPS wants you. Join in the FUN!
