How to get media exposure for your event or program.

• Yes Desk: Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers is the No. 1 source of news along the Treasure Coast. The Yes Desk is the one-stop place for you to reach one or all of our community newspapers – The Indian River Press Journal, St. Lucie News Tribune, the Stuart News, the Sebastian Sun and Jupiter Courier – as well as TCPalm.com and Treasure Coast Business Journal.



To submit your news to the Yes Desk, go to www.tcpalm.com/submit, there you will find variety of forms available to submit your news release or announcement. Forms include everything from milestones (births, anniversaries, engagements and weddings) to calendar events, Good for You, On the Move, News Tips, New Business, Prep Sports, Remember When, Letters to the Editor and more.



You can submit your favorite photos too. There are forms for popular photo galleries - Reader Snapshots, Pet Photos, Sports Photos, Troop photos, Hot Homes and more. Photos should be in a jpeg format, color and at least 200 dpi five inches wide (two inches for milestone photos.) Remember to include a caption that describes the photos and who or what is in the photo.



If you can’t find the form that fits your news, or have a question, send your news release or question to yesdesk@scripps.com. In the subject line include a brief description of the release and type the information in the body of the email. Do not send fliers, bulletins, html files, newsletters or other attachments and be sure to include your name and daytime telephone number.

Luminaries is published every Monday and distributed throughout the Treasure Coast in the Stuart News, St. Lucie News Tribune and Indian River Press Journal. Press releases and photos about upcoming events and follow-up stories and photos are welcome. All subjects in photographs must be properly identified from left to right.
