Scripps Deadlines

Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers strives to publish high quality, local newspapers and provide online products that positively serve the five counties of the Treasure and Gold Coasts. Owned by the E. W Scripps Company, which for more than 120 years has been a leading provider of news, information and entertainment content. Our goal is to reach target markets through events that provide educational, entertainment or cultural experiences that are relevant to our readers’ lives while making a positive difference in our community.




The Treasure Coast is rich with community service organizations and special events, and Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers is proud to have supported many of them.



Each year, Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers (STCN) receives hundreds of requests for community ads and sponsorships. Each request is carefully considered and based on certain criteria (criteria and guidelines outlined below) and available resources, we attempt to honor as many as possible.



Deadlines for requesting support are:



• For events January through March applications must be received on or before Oct. 1.



• For events April through June applications must be received on or before January 1.



• For events July through September applications must be received on or before April 1.



• For events Oct. through December applications must be received on or before July 1.



In general STCN offers community support in the form of in-kind advertising.



Here are some questions to consider before making a request:



• Does your event or program make a positive difference in the communities that STCN serves?



• Is the event or program produced by, or benefit a not for profit 501 C 3 organization?



• Will the event or program allow STCN to promote a product or publication by including logo(s) in all marketing collateral?



• Is the event or program accepting of STCN being the exclusive newsprint and online media sponsor?



• Does the event or program have potential to increase readership, circulation and/or advertising revenue?



• Will the event or program allow a booth at the event or allow STCN to solicit its members or attendees?



• Will organization be will to provide complimentary tickets and/or passes to the event?



• Will the event or program or sponsoring organization consider purchasing advertising in a STCN publication or on TCPalm.com?
