I spoke with Kathryn Smith, Social Editor, for the Vero Beach Magazine (old publication cover page attchment 1), on 10/6/08. Our discussion revolved around getting the VBPS Change of Watch (COW) into the VB Magazine. As we are nonprofit there is no cost as it falls under community service.

I also sent in the upcoming classes which she said would get in the magazine as well. The placement of the data sent in relates to timing. They have identified specific dates for information input and magazine publication. The class information should get in the January 2009 issue. The COW article may come out in the March 2009 publication. They make the final decisions.

She has put it (COW) on her calendar and would like to cover VBPS at the upcoming COW. She will send her photographer and one of her editors will be contacting me for a short story to go along with the photographs. This will be an exclusive package to the VB Magazine.

All photos taken at the evnet will need the names & ranks of those in the picture. The main photo (similar to the attached 2008 group shot) will be the members of the new bridge..I believe.

The data bellow is what I will send her on the upcoming event....as a draft. We have time to edit this piece and I am open to all input. Please add comments/corrections and send them to me by email. We can discuss this further by phone, email or at the Friday Night Social.

Regards,
Bob Scully
